Tips for Maintaining Sarees to Keep Them Fresh and New

1. Cotton Sarees

• Wash your cotton sarees separately. Dark colors will bleed and hence it is better to soak and wash them separately. 
  
• Dry your cotton sarees in shade. Avoid direct sunlight for long hours to prevent fading. 
• Don’t immerse your cotton sarees in water for long hours. Doing so will lead to loss of color.

• Embroidered sarees should be folded upside down to avoid embroideries from clashing. 

4. Tissue and Organza sarees

• Store your tissue and organza sarees in a muslin cloth. 
  
• Don’t hang them. 
• Keep them folded. 
• Dry clean these sarees
• Refold them at regular intervals to prevent ripping on creases.
